One of the major causes of pain in knees, hamstrings and the low back that I see in the clinic is a hip & core weakness. These weaknesses then lead to a muscle imbalance. When we run, we use some muscles to stabilize in combination with the other muscles that cause movement (aka “stabilizers & movers”).
